ABOUT THE GENDER STORIES PROJECT
The Gender Stories Project was started by Ruby, a transgender nonbinary woman, who was frustrated by the lack of reliable and relatable information on the internet about transfemme bottom surgery.
As they pursued their medical transition, they thoroughly documented their journey to later share publicly so that someone else just like her might benefit from her experience.
One person's experience, however, could never provide nearly enough support for a large and divers community.
The Gender Stories Project aims to support authors from every identity intersection to share their lived experience. We hope that our collective stories become the go-to resource where folx at the beginning of their gender journey gather to find themselves and know that they aren't alone.
